After last week's Sushi on Wheels post, a friend of mine recommended a street Sushi restaurant, on 3rd Road, on the left, approaching Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya Road).

Tested it with Gilles, both enjoyed it. When Paul and Sylvie visited the week after, it was worth a return trip. Enjoyed by all.

We ate as much as we could, and even left one or two pieces. Total cost about eight euros per head..

No alcohol sold on the premises, but you can bring in beer or wine from the 7/11 store just along the road, and they'll give you glasses.

Very pleasant staff. I think I'll be there pretty often...

It's rainy season here in Pattaya, and although it doesn't rain every day, when it does, it really comes down.
We are lucky to be one of the places on high ground. The restaurant opposite had water to their knees, but they were open again the next day....

After two months of fitting out, we finally opened. We had our very first customer stay with us two nights before we actually opened, but he loved the place and insisted ! He has actually been back on two other occasions, and even popped in on my birthday with some very nice Thai wine. Thanks Yuji.

We have now been open over a month and we are very happy with the way things are going. I say "we" because I am now with my girlfriend, who has been a great help sharing the work and responsibilities. It really is very hard setting up in Thailand, and to have somebody you can trust by your side, it helps..
("Fool !" .......I can hear you all shout.... but time will tell.)

The guest house has been busy, with many people staying on well after their initial days booked. Thanks to our longest staying guest, Alex C, a very nice gent who came for one night and stayed three weeks.
And to Jim, P John, Ludovic, Peter, Sean, Philip, Philippe, The Garden and our other customers who stayed for shorter times. Your positive compliments meant so much to us.
